TeamMK Challenge Roth 2011

For anybody looking for an Iron distance race and the comradeship of their team mates for summer 2011 - look no further.

The place to go is Roth, in Germany, for Challenge Roth 2011.  This race takes place on Sunday July 10th and is part of the highly successful 'Challenge' series (not an official Ironman event) and takes place on the old Ironman Germany course.  It is acknowledged as being one of the world's great Iron distance races with amazing crowds and support and next year we're all piling off to do it.

If, like me, you've entered another Ironman then you might want to consider doing both or pulling out of the existing Ironman as Roth is considerably cheaper at 330 Euros.  With the refund from Ironman you'll still be doing the Roth race for the price of the Ironman you've already paid for - if that makes sense.

Anybody who's done a mass Team MK Ironman race will tell you how great it is to have all that support out on the course.  And, don't forget the added bonus of carb loading by going out for a night or two on the lash before the race with me, Aleck, Boothy, Trev et al.
