This year I've changed the way we count long distance events: (Double points events are in bold)
Triathlon prizes: Your best 3 from 5 not in bold will count. You get additional double points for National and World Champs.

13th May Grendon Triathlon Local Sprint Tri
27th May Big Cow Sprint 1 National Age Group Sprint Triathlon Champs
16thJune Dambuster, East Midlands Up the M1. Good rolling ride and flat run. Olympic distance.24th June Shropshire Triathlon English Age Group Olympic National Champs
19th Aug MK Triathlon The big local olympic distance, good for fast times.
14th Oct Auckland Triathlon World Standard Distance Champs.
Long Distance Prizes - These events generally get booked up well in advance. For this reason this year all 1/2 and full IM distance events below will count and you will get put in a league table by time. If your course is fast/short then you stand to gain!! So the person with the fastest IM time gets the max points etc. Events in bold give double points. Your best IM and best 1/2 IM points get added together for your individual total.

10th June Bala 1/2 Ironman Up in North Wales, plenty of spaces still.
17th June Wimbleball 70.3 Lots of hills (bike and run) for a classic 70.3 experience.

16th Sep Challenge Henley IM Pop down for some hard work by the Thames.

Will be determined based on accumulated points from all 3 competitions above. The double points in bold as above.
How will points be awarded?
It will be based on finish position within TeamMK in each race. The system is as follows:
1st 20pts
2nd 15 pts
3rd 10 pts
4th-12th 9 down to 1 point
13th or lower 0pts
As suggested above you get double points at the races in bold.
Will I be able to follow my progress?
Yes, when I get time to put updates on the web.

Remember, I'm not superhuman and not paid to do this.
This system is to prevent the arbitrary selection of Triathlon/Duathlon winners, which occasionally has led to grumbles in the past.
I may accidently miss people from the events above. Please email robi...@sky.com your results to if you are intending to grumble to me at any point in the future!
You will count for any event if you were a paid up member at the time.
Don't grumble about which competitions are in or that there are too few. If you have a problem with this, then volunteer now to handle it all next year!
