Fancy a free Big Cow race

There will be opportunities for Team MK members to marshall and gain a FREE race. They will need to sign up to marshall for one of our big races (Emberton Country Park ones excluding the Cowman), and they will receive a voucher to gain a free race. The only exception is the Cowman. If you marshall the Cowman you will receive TWO free races.

Core Stability Session at Body Limits

A core stability talk, demonstration and practical session was held at Body Limits Gym on Saturday 15th November. Mark Booth led the session giving attendees an idea of some of the most valuable exercises that you can do.

British Cycling Level 2 Coaching Course

British Cycling are running a Level 2 coaching course in Milton Keynes next March and we are looking to for a number of Team MK members who would be interested in qualifying and helping out with the Team Keyne coaching. In return, the course cost will be part or fully funded by Team MK, British Cycling and Sport Milton Keynes.

1st Cat for Mike Wragg

Mike Wragg has now gained his 1st cat licence after a 6th place finish in Surrey.

After testing the local riders with an initial flurry of attacking, Mike settled in to a workmanlike ride with a view to collecting the points he needed in the bunch sprint, which when it came to it was a formality.

Circuits at Ousedale

Circuits at Ousedale school, Newport Pagnell are starting up again on Monday 8th September.

Start time is 19:00 for 1 hour. Price at end of last year was £3.50.

Lands End to John O Groats fundraiser for Willen Hospice

Many of you will have heard that several intrepid TMKers are riding from Lands End to John o' Groats in aid of Willen Hospice.

Phil Murphy, Ian Marshall, Claire Yearby, Richard Harrison and Gareth George will be doing the route in 12 days via MK to coincide with the start of stage 2 of the Tour of Britain on Mon 8th Sept.

If you look at the menu bar you will see that the 'About' item has now been renamed to 'Resources' as a bunch of stuff was getting stuck under it none of which was really about Team MK.

Dave Brown returning home to Australia
