Boothy's Kona Sweepstake
Mark has qualified for the Ironman Triathlon World Championships held in Kona, Hawaii next Saturday and is running a sweepstake in aid of Willen Hospice.
He wants people to guess his finishing time for Hawaii.
Each entry will cost 1 pound. Multiple entries are allowed and encouraged. If you can afford it then we suggest 5 entries each.
If you wish to make an additional donation to Willen Hospice then I'm sure Mark will very much appreciate it.
Results of the race will be published via email, the Team MK Ironman mailing list and on the Team MK website on the Monday after the race.
How to enter
To enter put your entry fee (£1 per choosen finish time) and, if you wish, any additional donation in an envelope, write your name and your choosen finish time or times (to nearest second) on the outside and then hand it in to BodyLimits.
You can also email your choosen time to Michelle at mcal...@btinternet.com but you must get your envelope with your entry fee to BodyLimits by Friday 10th October at the latest. If you fail to do this then your entry will be withdrawn from the sweepstake.
Half the money received for the sweepstake will go to Willen hospice and the other half will go to the winner of the sweepstake, that being the person choosing the time closest to Mark's finishing time.

for Willen Hospice!!
Event Details
The 2008 Ford Ironman World Championship marks the 30th anniversary of
the Ironman Triathlon and is the culmination of more than thirty global
Ironman events. The world’s toughest endurance event takes over 1,800
athletes along a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26.2-mile run. The
swim starts and finishes at Kailua Pier, the bike takes cyclists along
the Kona and Kohala Coasts and the run course travels through
Kailua-Kona. Athletes finish their 140.6-mile journey to the cheers of
more than 20,000 spectators on Alii Drive. More than 70,000 athletes
vie each year for slots to the Ford Ironman World Championship
