Test event in Thetford Forest.

A brand new event to the off road Duathlon calendar and fore runner to a great new 3 race series in 2010, this event is limited to 100 places and so will be in demand and will include special edition T shirts and other unique goodies.

Location

The event will be located in the Mayday area of Thetford Forest (entrance opposite the Bird hide entrance on the B1106), already famous for some great MTB racing.

Car Parking

There is ample parking in the Mayday transition area

Registration

Registration will be available from 15.00 to 18.00 on Saturday 10th October and from 08.00 to 10.00 on Sunday 11th October.
At registration you will receive two Race numbers one to be pinned to the front of your running top the second attached to the back of your cycling top.

Bike Racking and Start Time

Bike Racking will be permitted up to 30 minutes before the start. The start time of 11.00 will be a mass start which I assume will naturally seed competitors prior to the bike
section.

Race Briefing

The race briefing will be at 10.30 and it strongly recommended that all competitors attend.

Race Areas

Transition Area/Run Course/Bike Course are all in the MayDay area, specific maps
and directions will be sent out with the race packs.

Results and Prize giving

The prize giving will take place in the finish area as soon as possible after the event completion. Full results will be posted on the Go Beyond website by 23.00 on 11th October.

Refreshments

Water, Jelly Babies and Fruit Cake will be provided at the feed stations near the transition exit and entry

Toilets and Changing

It is not possible to provide changing facilities in the forest but portable toilet facilities
will be provided
