********** LOST PROPERTY ***********

The swimming at Stantonbury has restarted and should continue regularly into the future.

Where: Stantonbury campus Leisure centre can be found at: MK14 6BN. Its not far from the car parks off the V7 Saxon Street.

When: Thursday 19:25-20:30

Cost: £2 for adults; £1 for under 18s. PLEASE bring your money and pay we were often short last year!

Coaching: Club coach Mark Booth sets most sessions. In his absence Robin sets the sessions. Either way there will most weeks be either one cajoling you on from the side of the pool and giving stroke improvement advice.

Typical session: Get there for 19:25 for the warm up and briefing. In the water at 19:30 for a 12 minute warm up and then a session which changes from week to week. This Autumn 2009 we'll be concentrating on building your technique so that you can be more efficient in the water next summer. That often means that the warm up is followed by a period of drill and then some reps where you put the drill into practice with your normal stroke. The last 10 minutes may include some fun elements at this time of year.

Kids: Are often taken by BTF level 1 coach Toni Heap. They inhabit lane 1. Faster kids join in with the adults in the rest of the pool.
