Daniel Murphy Takes South of England Cyclo Cross Title

Daniel Murphy has taken the Southern Cyclo Cross Youth title in Southampton last Sunday against strong opposition.

Daniel had an excellent race quickly sitting in a lead group of 3 for the first couple of laps and then him and the eventual runner up broke away.  Daniel tried to break him once, but was pulled back, but then went again and this time was successful and rode in strongly to finish about 10-15 seconds ahead. There was a good line up of Team Keyne riders for the Under 12s race with Lily Keating, Neve Skeggs and Sam Skeggs all lining up for the start. With the extremely muddy conditions it was down to Sam to take third in the Under 10s race, strengthening his position in the Central Cyclo Cross League.
