Results NBRC New Year 10m TT

Steve Torley and David Carrington showed that they are 'ard men by taking part in the traditional NBRC New Year 10m on the Leighton Buzzard bypass.

A bright but very cold morning (-4 degrees according to some) greeted five intrepid rider who showed up for the NBRC's first event of 2010.  Despite warnings of ice on the course, all five made it to the start line.  Actually, once underway, Rob Saunders found the temperatures pretty much OK, other than for the first few minutes he couldn't see for my watering eyes!  In the event itself, Robert only saw one small ice patch actually on the road, though Grumpee did take the corners rather carefully just in case.

The riders seemed to be outnumbered by the combined body of helpers (many thanks to Tony, Bryan and Gilbert) and spectators.
