Run (Body Limits, Newport Pagnell)
The weekly Tuesday evening run session from Body Limits starts at 19:00. Please park in the car parks in Newport rather than the nearby residential roads as residents have been complaining.
SPRING 2010
Sessions are set by club coach Mark Booth. A common format is as follows:
5 mins warm up jog
3 mins of heel flick, high knees side to sides and lunges
2 mins warm up continuation
5 mins strides
30-40 minutes of reps near Tongwell lake
10 minute jog back to Body Limits
Tuesday 27th Apr:
Mark is away. He will probably leave session instructions with Michelle.
If not do: 1mile; 2*800; 4*400 with rests of 1min between each rep. The 800s should be 5s per 400 quicker than the mile and the 400s 5s per 400 quicker than the 800
Examples:
8min mile = 120s for 400 so 800 = 3min 50and 400 is 1:50
6min mile = 90s for 400 so 800 = 2min 50and 400 is 1:20
The 400m is 20m after end of fence on rhs when you hit the road.
The 800m is 5m after the hedgehog shrub
The 1200m is the yellow bollards.
