A new localish sportive on the scene so you can now ride 3 local sportives over the Easter weekend - Ouse valley (Sat), "Suzi" Quattro (Sun).  Sort of makes up for the absence of the Tour of the Cotswolds this year.

Building on its successful first year in 2009, the Cotswold Spring Classic is back. Taking place on Easter Monday (5th April) and based from Cirencester - the heart of the Cotswolds and Roman capital of Britain – the Cotswold Spring Classic takes in some of the best roads in the South West. Giving you a taste of truly classic Cotswold countryside and some of the most feared climbs in the area, including the pub-to-pub ascent of Birdlip Hill – made famous by the Tour of the Cotswolds and Tour of Britain, before riders head for the Stroud Valley. With two routes on offer (105km and 170km) this will offer a great way to round off the Easter weekend and burn off that extra chocolate egg you know you really shouldnt have eaten!!
